Swim Clinics

South West Swim offer clinics and camps at various times of the year.  Our camps cover various areas of swimming including:

  • Introduction to Open Water & Triathlon Swimming – A 3 hour clinic to introduce swimmers to the open water environment in a safe and controlled manner.  The aim of this clinic is to empower the athletes to take to the water for training, an events or just for fun.  It is also a fantastic route into our Beginner, Novice or Distance Open Water Squad structure.
  • Swim Smooth Day Clinics – One day clinics covering lots of technical swimming, video analysis and classroom presentations.  South West Swim aim to provide three to four of these clinics through the year.  We have some amazing locations too, with clinics currently operating from:
    Dean Close School, Cheltenham
    Marlborough College, Marlborough
and the world class 50m pool at Millfield School, Somerset.
  • Half Day Swim Smooth Clinics –  A new concept with details to follow.  These are small clinics for groups of 2-4 swimmers based in our endless pool in Swindon.  Details of this service to follow.
  • Warm Weather Training Camps – We are looking to provide a warm weather Swim Smooth training camp in early 2018.  This will be a magnificent opportunity to develop your swim skills, fitness and pacing skills with likeminded individuals, ready for the 2018 season ahead.  This is a work in progress so please keep your eyes peeled for more information during 2017.
