The SWS Run sessions will be designed to get athletes to be able to confidently run a Half Marathon or whatever distance they want to race at, we will look at biomechanics to improve efficiency. Athletes will be developed as Runners or Triathlon Runners, depending on the athletes goals. Triathletes will be focusing on running off the bike in the most efficient way as possible.
Brian aims to improve form through drills and strength and conditioning work in a monthly session for the athlete to work on. Provision of on going guidance and further advice can be provided if required, speak to Brian directly to organise.
The sessions will based on ability and ambition you need to know what your target is and that isn’t “I just want to finish …..”
The sessions will be on a monthly basis a will last about 2 hours, this includes warm up, drills and strength and conditioning work
Brian is a UK Athletics Endurance Coach and part of the UK Athletics National Development Programme.
Coaching Middle Distance and Long Distance brian has been successful with athletes winning medals at age group championships.
Multi Talented Brian can also coach sprints and race walking for those interested.
A cast array of experience Brian delivers Club run coaching to clubs for England Athletics and also mentors athletes and their coaches on UK Athletics future champions programme
