Coach the Swimmer, Not The Stroke.
At South West Swim we know and understand that not everybody swims the same. You can see this for yourself by looking at elite athletes, Rebecca Adlington with her smooth effortless stroke and the Brownlee Brothers with their fast paced, untidy style. However both of these strokes are effective and efficient for the individuals concerned.
We coach using the Swim Types system that gives greater flexibility and understanding to how any individual swims, some people are simply the Rebecca’s of this world, others are the Brownlees.
